Killing net neutrality to "eliminate unnecessary and burdensome rules" is like Android staying completely open — it enables big greedy corporations to abuse the openness to lock it down, control consumers, and maximize profits.
No one, whether government or corporate, should control free and open access to the Internet. The Internet is too important to allow broadband providers to make the rules.
This week's court ruling was a HUGE blow to the internet as we know it. The common consumer has no idea what this means but they will when they start to see things like this.
Information is power and now internet providers have the ability to control the flow of information as they say fit.
